i've had to deal with them before trying to get my contact prescription faxed. so after all day they never did it and wanted to do it the next day...why...because they lost my file in the process of creating the rx. i didn't take kindly to that.
so today i called and deciding after my last time trying to get the rx, i'd just pick it up.
they so didn't disappoint today...AGAIN!
me: i'd like to get a copy of my rx for contacts.
her: name and has your rx changed since the last time you were here?
**trying not to laugh at her**
me: no, i can still see with the contacts, i just need a new rx so i can order more.
her: are they different?
**wtf different??!**
me: not knowing what to say i said not that i know of. can i pick it up after work?
her: sure.
now i ask you...would you ask for a contact rx that you couldn't see with? or is that just my logic?! is it normal for people to go around wearing contacts they can't see with without making a dr's appt?
i haven't ordered contacts in about 3 years since i ordered a ton of them. and the reason why is i have weird lenses. yes...shocking...me having something weird. so when i have to order them, i order more so i don't have to wait for them to come in. i can't just go pick a box up at walmart vision.
dan said i should have just done the lines from my cousin vinny with the measuring tape and how many fingers am i holding up? i'm sure they wouldn't know that scene though.
so after that little phone chuckle, i get there after work and ask for my rx. surprise surprise it's actually ready!
i ask the girl, can you tell me when i need to come back for an exam? she takes the rx from me and reads the date...she said august 24. this rx is good for 1 year. well thanks for nothing dumbass.
anyways...my next question...i know, logic...i has it...
i'm sure i'm not the only one whose insurance pays for a checkup every other year, so how could my rx only last a year?
if i didn't love this eye dr so much, i'd have left him a long time ago.
this isn't the only stupid crap they do...they still haven't taken my dad's name off their call list. he's been gone for 5 years now. you'd think they'd get the hint of me and mom telling them.
see...told you a pile of rocks were smarter.
